During the normal planning of fire safety, valuables are not taken into consideration in the overall safety of the structure.  The only valuables that are taken into consideration are those designated as the building.  We provide safety for the building and its contents by ensuring that the fire does not spread further within the building or to surrounding buildings.  In some cases, depending on the industry and the contents stored, the building will have a higher safety level because of the high fire danger and risk of spread, not because of the value of the contents stored there.

Fire safety documentation to the municipality

According to the 2008 Building Regulation (Denmark), application materials regarding fire safety must be documented through fire technical documentation. The developers must be able to demonstrate that the building meets the legal requirements.

 

For traditional buildings, documentation can be incorporated into the building plan and cross section drawings, and must at least include:
